A Tourism Tax for a more sustainable Baja California Sur (BCS).

The tax is established in Article 129 bis of the Finance Law of the State of BCS. In accordance with State Laws:

All international visitors are required to pay $488 Mexican pesos to support local development, sustainability projects, and other initiatives in the destination. Payments can only be made online and must be paid before leaving the state.

The core aim of Embrace It supports responsible tourism development in Baja California Sur. Collected funds are allocated to:

  • Environmental protection projects, such as preserving coral reefs, cenotes, and natural parks.
